"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

In my local B&N earlier today, I noticed this box car displayed with other Polar Express merchandise. The box is labeled as a B&N exclusive and, aware of how many  OGR Forum posters are PE fans, I thought I'd take a picture and start a thread so folks who might be interested in the car are aware of it. The price is $39.99.

CNJ,

Thanks for the tip, I like the looks of that particular Polar Express Box Car and at 1/2 price like Bob indicated, I will have to stop in at B&N and pick one up and I do not own a Polar Express Train.  If B&N has 3 or 4 of these left, I may have to start one, they would make a great looking Polar Express Freight Train to add to our Christmas layout.  I could spend $100.00 and make a PE Freighter, pulled by one of my Weaver 0-8-0 Masonic Engines or even run a double header Masonic PE Freight Train.  I will check this PE Box car out, shortly.

Appreciate the post very much!

Just FYI these are G Gauge not O.  Not sure if you noticed.

I picked the last one up from my nearest B&N store this past Saturday for 1/2 off.  It will go with my Polar Express G freight set, along with the gray boxcar I got for that.

On a side note, due to a pricing error, I ended up with a Polar Express set (G Scale, passenger version) for $37.50 from B&N!  It was under the 50% off tables, and when I asked about the price (I hadn't seen the $149 sticker on it), they scanned it and while they wondered if it was set for 50% off and then rescanned later for 50% off, they had to give it to me for the $37.50!

A great deal, especially since I had the first G version without the Conductor's announcement in it!
