I collect MTH Premier 36' woodsided reefers and for the last couple of years they have produced around 50 per year. They seem to all arrive at the same time. Probably from the same manufacturing process and in the same container. According to a recent email from MTH all of the cars available for pre-order from last year have hit the shores and will be shipping shortly from all of the dealers and sellers who commissioned them. This is how it's been going for years now.
I find it interesting that no one has announced plans to commission cars for delivery next year. My psychotic brain is thinking that something happened to the molds, or whatever, and MTH will no longer be producing them anymore. I know they didn't sell the molds as Atlas already has molds for their cars.
Anyone have any insight?
