Have 2 new ES44 that just came in, got them set up in the base3 train roster. When I try to set up a train(TR menu) and add in the 2 ES44’s they are not showing up in the train roster. Other engines not on the track show up.

When I go back into the engine(eng) menu, swipe up the two engine show up on the train roster. I’m able to power up and control the engines mostly no issue(well most of the features work in the cab3 app).

Sure I am doing something wrong the Base3 being my first command control system.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

-Jim

Are these 4 digit capable locomotives?  I'm unfamiliar with them.  Are they the new ET44s? A product number would help.

If they are 4 digit capable and assigned only as 4 digit locomotives then they are unable to be in a train (for now) unless given a 2 digit ID as well.

They are 4 digit capable engines and I have them assigned as 4 digit IDs. Yes, two of the new CSX ES44/AC

I’ll give assigning them 2 digit ID a try and see if that works.

These are the ones in questioned…

4 Digit ID works fine running them separate, but for the lash up using the 2 digit ID worked.

Are you sure they're not just picking up the last two digits and addressing them that way.  I would be pretty convinced that Dave Olsen would be the last word on if they were 4-digit capable!
