I just received my new 2-8-0 and am having trouble figuring out how to install the battery. I got the UP version w/ the Vandy tender and the instruction book does not show that particular tender or all the screw locations. It only illustrates the screws (2) at the coupler end and there is nothing apparent at the draw bar end. Any help would be appreciated. Note that this is my only complaint, this is a GREAT little engine in all aspects. Thanks for your help in advance.

It helps to mention what brand of engine you are talking about. Is it an MTH or Lionel or 3rd Rail brass? Also the stock number may help as there can be 2 versions of the same engine, different years.
Most steam tenders will have between 4 to 8 screws to remove, you may have to swing the truck assembly out of the way to see some of the screws. Some tenders may have a screw on the rear of the tender near the coupler(half inch above coupler) area.
