Hello, I hope I am posting this in the right sub-forum. Anyway, I had to sell my Mth premier Reading A-B-A diesel set, so I did what most forum members would do, I posted a FS forum. But back to my question, I received a inquiry as to where I had gotten this sticker that says how to operate the BCR, (Pic in attachments.) I have no idea where this came from because I bought it used with it already installed. Does anyone know if it was sent with BCR's or just something someone made up to help them remember that it was in this engine? Thanks in advance for the help,

Nickstrains

That would be up to you as the BCR's cost more then the batteries , usually .either way your train will run fine on a battery or a BCR, so it come's down to a personal preference!

That maybe true, however the BCR units do NOT "go bad" and do NOT have to be charged overnight, in order to operate one of your models that hasn't been used in a long time.

I keep track of mine via the collection database and note all that have a BCR if I need a reference.

Bill is right,  that is an early 9V style BCR label.   It's no longer a minute but more like 15 seconds above 10v to get the BCR charged up.   If you have a transformer with an amperage meter / voltage meter,  watch it when you power up an engine that has been dormant for a long period.   The Volts and Amps will lower once the BCR is charged,  usually by one volt / amp.
