Hello all,

i just put a bcr in my PS1 1113lpk dreyfuss, I am currently using a CW80 to run it (have had no problems) but also have a spare MRC Tech ii 2500 from my HO scale layout to use. I have 2 questions (one stupid, one semi valid (. First question is, how is 10 volts indicated on the CW80, is it the 10 on throttle? Second, more valid question is, can I use the tech II to run this loco, the MRC Tech II is listed as supported, but given this is a DC model (2500) will it work?

Thanks for any and all answers,

Nich

Use a multimeter / VOM.  The 10 volts you need is the minimum, without a load, the CW will put out ~17.9 volts at full.  If you look at the wave form, the BCR should charge at below 10v as well off the peaks.  I'm surprised you have had success w/ PS & the CW-80.

No.  Besides being DC, it's only 2.5 amps.
