Back in the geological past, l remember the Bellefonte Central discussed in a model magazine.  I just flipped through a 2018 Lionel catalog and noticed a belpaire firebox B.C. loco.  There was about half fantasy stuff, so l wondered if the B.C. owned any ex-Pennsy locos, but within the confines of the space here, l would like to know a little bit about the B.C.? I've long forgotten those old articles.

Did you try a Google search?  There sure is lots of historical information listed.

The book Rails to Penn State, The Story of the Bellefonte Central, by Michael Bezilla and Jack Rudnicki, published in 2007, is a great source of info on the BC.  Ex Pennsy locos are no fantasy on the Bellefonte Central.  In addition to being a very interesting read, especially to this Penn State grad, it has some real neat photos.  Enjoy!
