A question about this car please. It is listed on the NETCA site as a 2008 convention car with the Lionel ( I presume) number of 6-524881. The actual box for the car has "2008 Convention Car Ben&Jerry's reefer 6-52481" on the flap. The car has in tiny printing "2008 TCA Convention Burlington VT". I presume that this is the TCA 2008 convention car with NETCA listing it as theirs ( and with the wrong number) because they hosted that meet? Thoughts to get this old guy straightened out, please.

I've has no responses-what I am asking is whether this is a TCA car or a NETCA division one. Thanks
The car is National Convention Car for the TCA. NETCA has it listed on there site because they hosted the Convention that year. Road number is 524881 the Lionel Sku is 6-52481. The information is all there if do a little searching the web which is probably why no response.
We made quite a few different car that year. One of my favorites was the Cabot Cheese reefer. The company was so pleased with them that they had a second short run done without the TCA info for their employees.

KOOLjock1 Thanks-that's the kind of info I am looking to learn about. Although I live in the Chicago area for over 50 years and wife and I raised all 5 children here, I born in Jersey ( hence am a Doo Wop, Murray the K, Jerry Blavat, etc fan) -and am a PRR nut, especially their electrics and early diesels-I also spent time north of Millinocket Maine-hence am also interested in railroads like the MEC, B&M, B&A and Rutland. I am putting together a Rutland milk train- and although I have not found any info about about any real Cabot Creamery reefers as part of those runs, it is fun taking some "poetic license" and having such cars in the run of milk cars. So thanks-stay safe and have a great holiday. PS I have to tell you that 2 of my most favorite places in the world include sitting on the top of either Mt Washington or Katahdin !!
