Well, after many hours today and with the help of some good friends my layout is finally built.
After standing back in complete awe over the layout, I had to pinch myself knowing I wasn't dreaming that in fact I was officially able to build my O gauge empire and run my postwar trains.

Brody, the foreman on the job was making sure dad's layout was up too snuff.
And finally, the end result. Once again, I could not have done this alone without my friends willing to give a hand.
