I just received a pre-owned Irvington Factory.  One of the bulbs is burned out.  The replacement bult iis listed as a #10-2905-300.  Could not find that number on the Parts site for Lionel.  It is the number listed in the instruction sheet.

Can someone please direct me a source for this bulb, or should I go with LEDs.  I want to make sure the figures inside are visible.  Open to suggestions here.

I found the manual online. I think that might be a misprint for the bulb number. Also, similar bulbs in other items are unavailable from Lionel. You might try taking the bulb to a service shop to see if they have anything like it. It should be an 18volt bulb (there are two). Otherwise, you could post a picture here with measurements. Is it bayonet or screw base?

I would try to find an 18volt soft white LED replacement that fits the socket. There are a few sources online. You need to find the socket type first. Lionel says the sockets are from North Lima Trainworks. I found it online, but it has no specs and no source for bulbs.

Thank you George.  I found some through Brassier and led's from Tony at Americas Best Train.  I will try both and use the led's if they are as bright.  One thing I see as a struggle, is getting the light bright enough to bring out the flat people inside the factory.

OK, I called all of the major dealers, Lionel parts, trainz and all of the train lightbulb searches on Google.  No luck.  I did take a picture of one of the survivors.  It is different from a standard 428 as the globe is extra large and a bit brighter.  It is an 18 volt bulb.   I am taking a dead one to York, but was hoping to find one before York.18 volt bulb
