Thanks Das boot! Great to see you are up on your history. Did you   Jim, just black and yellow for now but will look into the blue and yellow. 



Das boot did you know the following? 

ALL British airplanes were painted at least on the bottom or all over yellow.
The idea being since no one knew what they were or who they belonged to yet, antiaircraft gunners MIGHT not shoot at them!

Similar to the train inspired bottom the artist at Lionel really did a great job encapturing the plane and stories behind it.
