I wonder if someone could answer a question for me. I do not own any of the very new large engines that advertise must run on min of O72 curves.

Question, will these engines pass over a O31 1/2 curve without difficulty assuming there are either O72 curves or straights on either end of the 1/2 curve?

Sure would appreciate it if someone can help on this?

They will derail. Some of the O-72 engines won't work unless the O-72 track is perfect. The Lionel JLC GG-1 comes to mind--I had to rework my track in several sections to make it work.

The minimum curve MUST be a consistent O-72 ALL the way through the curve.
