I'm trying to button up a one off project, a greyback scheme CB&Q GG1 {someone had to make one} and would like to find some black lettering that says "everywhere west" or "way of the zephyrs"...all I have or have seen is that in white, and that would be too light on the light grey body...anyone know where I could find them in black shy of making my own - trying to scan white decals on white backing paper doesn't sound like a very do-able idea to me.

I'm not sure that the Burlington ever had them in black, since the script lettering would disappear on whatever it was painted on. Thus, I don't think any decals in black have ever been made. That's just my guess.

-Hot Water,

I agree, but there is the possiblility of boxcart decals, though a web search came up short at the moment with the exception of one item and the heralds would've been too small for my needs.

-Brother Love,

Where'd you find those?!{can't read the slanted area}...that might work if they're big enough - what size are the two separate heralds, each? Actually, they probably would work as I could scan them and enlarge if needed...I'll toss you an email!

I know I am WAY late to this thread.......I stumbled on this looking for 'Everywhere West' logos.  The sheet of transfers Brother has would work to use as artwork to create new art. I'd be happy to make whatever is needed decal wise in return for using the transfers to create new art for anyone who needs it.

Let me know where you guys are on this......I need that logo in black and have had a time finding!

Thanks

I was going to say that there were black decals for reefers, but Borther Love shows

them above.   Somebody made a kit for a double door O scale reefer, and there are

several single door Burlington reefer kits out there.  I have seen a photo of one of the

prototype double door reefers coming out onto the street from a "Denver brewery",

that I would like to know more about...reported to be close to Denver Union Station.
