BLI has announced that their New BIG-BOY will have Paragon-3 W/Rolling-Thunder a Smoking-Whistle and a Depleting-Coal-Load.
"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.
Post your non-O scale stuff here!

Check my post below. I was wrong.
I can`t get the Video to copy, but go to the BLI Facebook page and the announcement is a ways into the Video about their N&W Y6B. It`s very interesting. Bob Grubba makes the annoucement and shows the Smoke-Unit and Depleting-Coal-Load.
There will also be a new Magnetic-Tether on the Big-Boy and there`s a contest to guess how much money is in the Coal-Consist in the video.
My apologies, you are absolutely right. The new big boy will have whistle steam and depleting coal load.
Funny at first I checked their web site and it made no mention of those features. It seems to be a great time for HO.
Who is BLI? Sounds interesting....Thanks for posting
Mike Wolf has mentioned a few times that MTH would like to put a Steaming-Whistle into HO,so it surprised me when Bob Grubba broke the news right at the end of a Y6B video. With these developments and the Paragon 3 Rolling Thunder System BLI is really moving the technology ahead in HO.

Broadway-Limited-Imports they have a Website and FB Page, they`re HO and N.
If someone could get the video to copy it would be nice to post it here, it doesn`t seem to be on youtube yet.
I`ll see if this video of BLI`s Rolling-Thunder System works. BLI is also coming out with a Smoking-effect AC6000 this month. The BB video isn`t up on youtube yet.
The video is up on youtube now, so here it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpp9mpqQnj4
I wouldn't get my hopes up as those of us in the large scale 1:29 world have been waiting for over 10 years now for the BLI/ Grubba SP AC-12 brass Cab Forward...

That thing was cancelled many years ago. Nobody really expected that to be made, did they?
Here is the video. Not sure why people can't embed it...
Depleting coal loads and smoke is something most current HO modelers couldn't care less about. If this ends up compromising motor size (which was the case on the Pennsy L-1 as compared to an earlier run IIRC), then we lose.
I'd rather they invest in high quality detail, sound, and outstanding running qualities that will withstand the test of time than "gimmicks".

Jerry
Where does that Bob Grubba come up with those great ideas!
Great ideas Bob and ken.
You are really furthuring (sp) the interest in HO and N
The catalog BLI put out was showing the Loco and Tender would be plastic, but the on-line catalog has been saying they will be Diecast.
