I performed a PS3 upgrade on a Premier EP5 and realized after it was too late that the wire routing for the LED marker lights did not have the clearance as I had planned. Although the wires were held in place, they were in direct contact with one of the flywheels. This in turn removed the wire insulation and created a short. All functions of the board are intact with the exception of circuits 31 & 33 (as listed on page 16 of the upgrade manual). The headlights and interior lights all work correctly.
Can this be repaired? Also, is there a way to test the marker lights for functionality? The torn insulation has been repaired and the short removed, but I would not want to install a repaired board only to damage it once again.
Thanks!
