My question is, with the bluetooth ap, can I run ANY Lionel locomotive equipped with bluetooth, on my layout, without having to upgrade to Command control? Can you only control one locomotive at a time with the ap?

Yes, and yes. With the Lionel Lionchief app, you can run any Lionchief, Lionchief Plus and Legacy locomotive that is equipped with Bluetooth without investing in any other command control system. Just apply 18 volts AC to the track and all above engines will run.
