This locomotive came through our subdivision (Frisco SW) frequently in the early 1980s.  Some creative hostler took white chalk and deftly drew a cab window and a jolly engineer on the right hand side.  If anyone has a photograph of that, I would love to see it one more time:

Found the following info   SLSF 660 became BN2600( The unit was damaged in 1980, and when repaired it was converted to a cabless unit by Springfield Shops.    , BN 600B   then BNSF 2136(GP38AC)   some where it was converted back to a cab unit.
