I read about this book in a short review in the most recent "Pennsylvania Magazine," and decided to get a copy. It's called "Unscheduled Stop."

It's a short, 160-page story about an 1893 crash of a circus train in Tyrone, PA (part of the Tyrone and Clearfield Rail Road, affiliated with the PRR).
It was a disaster similar to the Red Arrow wreck at Gallitzin years later, only with less of a human toll. It's a bit of a dry read, very matter of fact, but it covers the history of the area well and as railroad reading, it's entertaining. Only has a couple of photos.
I don't mean this to be an advertisement, but the only place I have found it is on their website -- It seems to be unavailable through Amazon, etc.
Anyway, I certainly recommend it to PRR fans, circus train aficionados, etc.
