Bill T. stopped by to run his steel mill cars on our layout. MTH cars swivel to be placed in their Styrofoam cartons, therefore with the added weight at the top, weights were added to the inside bottom to keep the hatch at the top while moving. The gondolas left the Lionel factory as O-27 cars, were ripped length wise off center and two of the wider pieces were joined. Plenty of weights bring the cars to NMRA standards.
