I got a box of great stuff from Lou Cross today. Tie plates, switch parts, and a 90 deg crossing, time to start finishing some track.

Oooo you lucky man you....I'm waiting on a box myself. Make sure you toss some pic's up as your work progress'....
I will the next pic will be the upgraded pilots on my Weaver U25B. I posted the pic of the new scenery the other day and was applaud at how the pilots look on that loco.
Ken
OK Ken,
Will you have those parts in by the weekend so you can post pictures on Monday?
I hope to have them by Sunday night. We will see how it goes.
Ken
Alright...I'll be waiting patiently...errr uhh just waiting...
Good! Im glad you and Chris are getting practice in before you head over to my house
Friday night work got the pilot of the engin looking better. It need some weathering and pin lifters and I think it will look nice. I put in a pic of before and after.
Much better Ken, very nice. Where did you get the hoses?
Very Nice Ken. Nice attention to detail: Train line being larger than the MU lines. A detail often missed by most.
Keep it up!
Wish there was a "like" button for individual posts!
Thanks Patrick I wish the MU lines were a touch smaller but then the casting wouldnt fit in the end of the hose.
CWEX,
Not trying to butt into your affairs but I know Lou is leaving on Tuesday for his trip back to Chicago and you're looking forward to your parts. Having said that, I asked him if he'd received and shipped your order yet. He told me he got your order late this week and will make to sure ship it Monday, before he leaves.
He will be gone for a few weeks.
Again, not trying to get into anyone's business but I know how waiting for these things can be.
For anyone interested, it looks like we maybe setting up a 90th birthday party for him in October. If any of you call him please don't say anything.
Jay
No you are not butting in at all, I appreciate the information...Thank you. 90!!....god bless him, still going to the show and such a dedication to the hobby.....a great man indeed.
