About two years ago I detoured through Branson, Mo., and discovered they

had a train ride out of downtown Branson (it was diesel..an F or E so I didn't

pay much attention) but I hadn't heard of it and was surprised. (I drove on

south to explore the Heeber Creeper(also a tourist train ride) which I had heard of years ago, and also its location, Eureka Springs, Ark.,which can be described as "quaint")

I was later surprised, I think last year, to hear on the news that a tornado

had struck Branson, hidden,, you might think protectively,  in the various hollows between hills(although SW Mo. sure gets some tornados).  I just wonder if the railroad was damaged and repaired, and if, I think there was an original station in downtown Branson, that survived?
