breaking news - railroad bridge on fire Louisville Ky.

Oooooo. Not good...my home town, and I used to cross the river daily to work in

Indiana.  Old way over used to be the K&I bridge, ride along with the trains, with

autos, too.  I hope they get that out without much damage or dumping cars in the

river.  I think the old Big Four RR bridge is now a walkway over the river.

There are 15 photos on WHAS TV 11 web site.  Looks like a stack train with JB Hunt containers.

Recent news updates identify the train sitting on the bridge as Norfolk Southern;  at least two railcars and their intermodal containers burned and the ties and bracing under these cars are falling into the river.  Lots of pictures (slideshow) and some video of fighting the fire at WAVE 3 NEWS and WDRB 41 News.  Google these to see what's happening.  I'm not sure how to attach to these posts, maybe someone else can do that if interested.  This is the old K & I bridge - locals say its older than dirt.
