The A4 Pacific was Britain's ultimate in streamlined steam power, but did Britain ever have a streamlined diesel or electric? Seems to me they've all been those boxy-looking things.

Class 56? Class 67?
These have more rounded edges when compared to the class 66 which has just a flat face.
Europe diffidently has different tastes on what a locomotive looks like. However, I like the look of the class 66 (which is an EMD product) and other European locomotives.

Hey, diesels are boxy, pretty much all of them, everywhere. You got all this machinery and you put a box around it. Makes sense. That's pretty much it unless you are streamlining for really high speed -- and then you're usually electric. I much prefer F and E series "boxes" - at least they don't like so industrial like SDXXs and whatever. British diesels look pretty good considering.
