the truck is attached to the car body with what looks like a push on teflon or plastic stud inserted from the car floor, I tried to pull the truck off, no deal. The objective is to replace the truck due to the coupler looking non-reparable. \Q| do I cut the stud? Is there a replacement part or kit to re-attach, should I just forget about it? The car is an old 70's era box car with out much value.
