Not all that long ago, my Lionel 12771 Mom's Roadside Diner stopped smoking out of its stack (it used to smoke copiously). I'm aware that this is the same unit used in the modern era extended vision cabooses and have had a reputation for burning out too easily if the voltage is too high for too long. Is there a way to fix the unit or are there replacement units available?
