Hopefully somone may have an answer for a problem that I encountered. Friend of mine purchased a used MTH PS-2, 2-10-0 Consoladation and no sounds or smoke. Removing the shell from the tender their I saw 4 wires that are broken from their solder connections. I have attached photo's that show the wire colors of pink, blue, gray, and red. There is a blue jumper that goes from the pot to the other. Thank you for any assistnace, Mike

Pot on the right is smoke volume, same as the switch in the diagram. The pot on the left with the 3 solder pads is volume. Follow the wires back to the 12 pin connector and you should be able to reconnect them correctly.
Red to the center of the pot on the left, gray to the open spot on left pot and blue on blue of left pot. Pink goes to center of pot on Right. Pink/Blue smoke control. The other 3 wires volume. When pink is grounded to the blue smoke on. When red is grounded to the gray volume maximum. G
