I don't see them for sale often, but someone in the LA area is selling a Buddy L locomotive on Craigslist for $850 right now. Looks restorable. Just in case anyone here collects that stuff.

This is high for condition. I have a Buddy L loco and several cars plus track including a switch!! Quite the yard toy
Wow, did they dredge that thing up from the bottom of the Los Angels River? Anytime someone posts trains on Craigslist in my area they immediately think they can ask crazy high prices. Buffalo has a pretty depressed economy & outrageously priced items don't sell. You'l see stuff like that sit there for weeks & then show up lower & lower as time goes on.
I would love to have one of those to restore and motorize to run outdoors. Usualy way out of my price range.
there is a complete set with tracks on the Bay but priced out of possibility for most of us. Buddy K Toys does restorations on these too.
