This is from an article in the early 90s in model railroader. It was a fun project. I made the front clear to make it more interesting and put an old fashioned bulb inside to light it up. It can do a lot.

I must say that it is interesting. With wires going everywhere, it looks like the bottom side of some layouts 
. Maybe a man named, "Jim" will take notice. He can tease all of us with his added gizmos

Great job! I made my own test set also, albeit much less complex and much less expensive!

That's cool. I made a cheap test stand. It gets a lot of use.
Good work. I appreciate your topic and hope more members post some pictures of their test stands. I have most of the parts I need but still looking for more examples. I also know that there are other members thinking about this subject as well.
