When did Burlington stop running these F Units with this paint scheme?

By the time of the BN merger (CB&Q, GN, SP&S, and NP 1971 or 1972), I'm pretty sure there weren't many CB&Q F Units remaining, as they had all been traded-in to EMD for new units. Even into the post BN merger, the BN still was using quite a number of F Units (former GN and NP), repainted to the BN green styling, in to the mid to late 1970s.
EDIT,
Upon Googling "CB&Q Gray Back F3 units", found a Burlington Historical Society roster, and the last unit was traded-in to EMD in 1970 (against an SD45). There is a wealth of information on the Burlington Historical Society site.
Basically, the grayback scheme was the only paint scheme worn by the CB&Q F-units. Just about all of them went to trade in at EMD or GE during the mid to late 1960's.
According to the CB&Q Historical Society Burlington Bulletin #4, by the time of the BN merger in March 1970, F7 168A was the last Q F-unit on the roster. While it was assigned as BN 796, it was never physically renumbered or repainted before going for trade in on an SD45 during August 1970.
It appears the F-units repainted to BN green were all ex-GN, NP and SP&S units.

Speaking of F units on the Q: A few of the F units were painted in passenger silver to run through past Denver on the CAL. ZEPHYR. That did not work out. Considering the NP and GN were running F units west of the Twin Cities on passenger, was there any thought of run through with F's pre-merger?
Corrections welcomed.

Part of the original "planning" for the three railroads involved with the new California Zephyr, was the assumption by the CB&Q folks that motive power would be "run through". Thus, the CB&Q purchased 3 sets of A-B-A EMD passenger F3 units. Once the CB&Q management realized that none of the individual railroads involved were going to run their power through, i.e. the WP used their own units, and the D&RGW used their own units, the CB&Q quickly ordered new EMD E7A. As soon as the E7A units were delivered, the sets of F3s were removed from CZ passenger service, had the steam generators removed, regard, and placed in freight service (although those 'passenger units' retained their original passenger assigned road numbers).

Even prior to the BN merger, E Units were used west of Minneapolis - St Paul as far as Havre, Montana on the GN, where the F Units took over. It was not uncommon to find pairs of CB&Q E Units being serviced at the Havre Diesel Shop, with all the GN units, waiting for their return back to Minneapolis - St Paul, and Chicago.

The Burlington's passenger F's (9960ABC-9962ABC) were first reassigned to secondary passenger runs. They were regeared for freight service and the steam generators removed in 1955. They were repainted to graybacks shortly after.
From Burlington Bulletin #4:
Most of the ex passenger F3's were traded in on GP35's in '63/64, while the 9960B was trade in on a GP40 in '67 and the 9960C was sold for scrap in '65.
