There are a bunch on YT.  Here is one.

I just pre ordered the Blunami 4408 from my LHS.  Will upgrade my MTH F7.

I saw that and didn't believe it...until I tried it. Maybe a chemical engineer in the group can explain it. Going to try it out to fix a broken pilot mount.

Sounds like  the blue rail is now your number one choice. Looks to complicated to me.

I also saw a YT on CA glue with baking soda and an additional ingredient of powdered graphite that is supposed to add even more strength. I have not tried it myself though.

Never would I have thought of mixing CA & baking soda. Great repair! My kitchen chemistry would probably result in a hazmat emergency of the "let's see what happens when you mix bleach and cleanser" variety lol.

The Blunami board above has much potential. Ron, do you know the dimensions? Darrel Lamm has a converter that he feels could provide a 3rail option for the 4400. The combined boards would then be option for 3 raiders versus the other approaches. Then, by dropping out the Lamm board and using a battery you could get to dead rail. My head vis banging with the possibilities. How long before the Blunamis are out? Did they say?

I put the 2200 in an MTH 44 tonner.

But the 4408 is the real O and G scale board due out this month.  Soundtraxx says 69 x 30.5 x 14 mm

Here the the 44 toner.

Bet JB Weld, a metal filled epoxy, would do that job too and be stronger.

its very strong  , and does harden a lot faster

1.  Always have good ventilation when using the CA with anything Jim.

2. Not sure about the bleach and cleanser.......but never  use bleach and any product containing  AMMONIA.

Hi, I've always new about this and learned about it when I was a teenager. always worked perfectly and dries instantly highly recommended for repairs after it dries quickly. you just sand and prepare for painting and you're done!
