thanks Lima, I already have those pdf, seems to me that with the reference card it's the only form of manual available.
Found this manual on the Lionel site. The pdf is attached below. Click to download.

Thanks Jim that's what I was looking for, I know Lionel must have include a manual.
off topic , I really start to prefer my Cab 1 to my DCS remote, no surprise here, in HO and N I hate the NCE remote because of the same thumb wheel, I prefer turn a button to control speed, especially on a switching layout. NCE do offer a Cab-04 with the rotary button so it please all their customers needs But the Cab 1 is not perfect, I hate the antenna and it's still too large to fit well in the hand. I wish Lionel will make a smaller optional cab to use with the Legacy with no need for all the legacy function, when you switch car, you need only f/r and speed control. Is not whhat the cab-1l will be ?
PC,
I'm not a fan of thumbwheels either. My favorite controller was a Digitrax DCC handheld that included two separate throttle control knobs. You could control two separate command engines without having to press buttons to switch back and forth between them.
From what I hear on the forum, the next thing will be touch screen control with smart phones?

Actually I just download the etrain commander and it as a server mode that allow my Android phone to control the train, it's not that good, as a touch screen is a touch screen. the apps for iPhone that control a train on JMRI is far better. I do also like the Digitrax Dt400 with 2 knobs, but my favorits Digitrax is the UT4r once you mod it to have a less sensible knob pot.

JMRI has something to run TMCC engine put it'S not really good as you have to setup the engone ID with the cab

Neat apps. Makes you wonder where it all will go in the coming years.

Voice command.....nothing to hold, drop or misplace.
Yep siri for Legacy. "Fireman Siri more Steam" (Engine responds with more Smoke output). "Yardmaster Siri Switch #1 through" LOL
