Sorry for the simple query; know it has to be in the manual! When one loads an engine manually into the Cab 2, the info for TMCC MODE choices of CAB 1 MODE/TMCC/R100/LEG. I believe engines upgraded to TMCC go under CAB 1 and Lionel factory TMCC go under TMCC; what is R100? Leg is obvious to me; input and confirmations is appreciated. Falcon70

R100 or “relative 100 speed steps” is for ERR and TMCC upgrade boards

TMCC for standard factory TMCC locomotives with or without Odyssey. You can also use CAB1, though I rarely ever use CAB1. R100 for ERR Cruise, K-Line Cruise, or TAS EOB equipped locomotives. Obviously, for Legacy, you pick the Legacy control.
Note that the default is Legacy, so if you add a new TMCC engine, you have to go change the operating type to a compatible type or you'll find the locomotive won't move. Don't ask me how I found that out years ago.
