I've used TMCC and have looked at the video's on the Lionel website, but I

want to be sure on what I need ( hardware wise ) before I place the order.

I have a small layout with with 2 separate main lines. Right now I use 2 Z1000

transformers to run it. I have an even mixture of TMCC and conventional engines.

So I would like to run any combination of TMCC and conventional on my layout.

My understanding is I can use the power bricks from the Z1000 then add.

1 CAB1-L remote

1 CAB1-L base

2 powermasters

Is this right for what I want to do ?

I don't plan on doing any legacy for a while. Just some TMCC and

conventional. I know it's a pretty basic question but I want to have all

the parts together before I dive in....

Thanks

  Bruce..

Powermaster have to be the newer legacy based ones.  Btw, that's what the L is for in CAB-1L, Legacy.   The original Powermasters are controlled by the original CAB-1 at 27mhz.

I guess I should have been a little more specific. I was looking at page 138

of the Lionel 2013 catalog and was going to order everything from there.

What confused me what what parts and how many of each for my setup...
