I replaced my Legacy Base with the Base3. Except for a few anomalies or bugs in the Cab3 App, as noted in this Forum, everything has worked fine...locos, accessories, switches, etc.  Yesterday my Legacy UP 1943 (6-85315) would not respond to a Cab2 throttle command. All other buttons on the Cab2 work. I also cycled through the Cab3 App on my iPhone and iPad, and the Cab 1-L. All commands were acted on by the UP 1943.  I then went through the same procedure with another deiseal, a Legacy  GP35 DT&I (6-38791) and the Acela (6-18357). They responded to all commands to include the Throttle on my Cab2.  Not sure whether it's the Cab2, which seems unlikely since the GP-35 responded, or the UP 1943, but other than this test, I don't know what else if anything to do to find out what exactly is the problem.

Possible the train brake was on?  Even though it may not physically be engaged, just check it.  Also maybe the speed limit was set accidentally.

Thanks. I checked the Train Brake. It looked closed so I slid it open then closed. Sure enough that was it. It must have been open ever so slightly because after I did that the  engine responded to the throttle. It never occurred to me to check the Train Brake. Lesson learned. Thanks again.

We've all been there.  That's how we know!  LOL!
