Caboose and tender lighting

I don't know if the LC electronics has an output for a backup light on the tender.  It wouldn't be hard to have a light that just lit all the time if not.

As far as the caboose, if it's not lit, you'd have to add the power pickups and then wire the lighting inside.

Lionchief is an entry level train, which means it is limited to basic features in general.

They are good for introducing folks to the hobby.

Higher cost engines and cars have more details and lighting.

Optionally, you can buy a lighted caboose for a decent price but a higher level engine is going to cost more than the set. That means adding the light is a better way to go in that case. Not sure if there is a way to trigger it by going in reverse on a LC train. My Polar Express doesn't have a back up light either, I don't worry about it, the kids never notice.
