What is the current status of the California Western.  When I first heard about it decades ago, I think it was a

common carrier providing a commuter service between Willets to Ft. Bragg (found a really good ice cream shop

in Ft. Bragg a few years ago) with connecting service to San Francisco.  Now I think it is just a tourist road?

I never had time to ride it, or, it wasn't running, the couple of times I got there.  I wanted to ride one of their

gas electrics, which were running the first time I got there.

Hmmm....thanks, but I see their current logo doesn't even show a gas electric...

Wonder if they are still running any rides on those? Guess I will ask.... When

last there, several years ago, their emphasis seemed to be on the steam train,

which is not where the term "Skunk Train" (the gas electrics) came from.  Not

that steam is bad, it is just that gas electric rides are slightly more unique.
