I'm looking for a motor for my MTH Premier Union pacific 0 6 0 engine.
The motor part number is BE-1100002 - (RS-365SH) (no worm gear) (9.0x27.0mm
black & white striped flywheel). See attachment:
The engine is an MTH 20-3270-1 Premier UP, (USRA 2.0 Hi-Rail), steam-loco. When I received the engine last year, it had never been used, brand new out of box. The engine however is from the 2007 MTH volume 1 catalog, delivered in June 2007, so it’s a bit old. Because of its age, we’re having a hard time locating a new, or used/working motor.
The original motor burned out while sitting on the track. It had not been started up, but the TIU was powered up and other engines were running at the time. The engine ran great for several months before the burn out.
I would very much appreciate any help you might be able to offer. Should you have this motor with flywheel, let me know if you can send one to me, (I'll be happy to pay whatever costs will be incurred), or if you would prefer, let me know if you would like to work on it yourself. A terrific MTH authorized tech tested the engine and told me that all boards are working fine and only the motor is shot; (really lucked out there). We're just having a difficult time finding a motor. Midge, of MTH, told me that they may be on back order, but I'm not too sure if MTH will even produce new motors.

Contact Frank Timko at Timko's Repair Depot; send him your motor; he will swap your flywheel assy onto a new motor; fast turn around; very reasonable; have used him many times; Falcon70
