Item number 6-5906. I want to use screws to mount it to my test track board, however the bottom portion is being stubborn to remove. I'm afraid more force will break the case. I can't find any reference regarding disassembly. Does it come apart and if so there a trick to it?

There are two screws hiding under the label on the underside.

Ditto!
Thats what i did with mine....
I mounted my little DCS Remote Commander box with double-sided tape, also. Can't tell. Tape doesn't necessarily mean sloppy.
Thanks for the answer and suggestions! Just not a fan of double sided tape. I’m seeking therapy!
As a kid I learned one can take anything apart. Putting it back together is another matter entirely.
As noted, the screws are hiding under the sticker. they are #1 phillips if I recall. As for tape, using the right tape makes a difference. When it comes to double sided, use 3M, or go home.

I've been saying that on an antique car forum for years. Still falls on deaf ears, though.
FWIW, anything can be taken apart, the trick is the reassembly with some of the more difficult items!
Edit: I see Farmer Bill beat me to it.
Maybe like replacing the spring on a pull-to-start lawnmower? Only did that once but never a second time! LOL!
