I'm thinking of installing a different MTH proto2 sound file in an engine but would like hearing a sampling of the crew talk of a couple of possible choices before deciding which one I'd like. Is there any way to preview them on my home computer? I'm fearful an unfamiliar hobby shop I've never done business with would be unwilling to let me listen to all my choices there before I make a decision. Is there any software program I could download that plays MTH Proto2 sound files?

If you go to MTH website and choose a locomotive you're interested in and you can listen to the sounds. They are mp3 on the website:

Thank you, but a sound sample is available only when the speaker icon in the engine listing is black. If the speaker icon is grey, then no sound file is available. Unfortunately it seems the speaker icons for most engines are gray while only some of the newest engines have black speaker icons indicating there are sound files available for listening
