This Christmas I got my "Red Ryder beebee gun" present. A 40 lb cast steel LIRR whistle post sign in great shape. Love having a genuine LIRR artifact.

That’s a very nice example ! Mine is still attached to its steel post in the garage. (It gets heavier every year !). After moving it house-to-house for 40+ years I may actually “plant” it this time.
