Merry Christmas everyone! Today marks the 20th year our Polar Express set has toured the Christmas tree to start our family’s Christmas festivities. It’s been modified over the years including the addition of ERR sounds, and a train crew. It’s also had a motor replacement, smoke unit change, and a couple of tire replacements. It’s still here though, keeping the family tradition going. The train includes a number of add-on cars over the years, including this year’s 20th anniversary car. With the train now totaling 11 cars, it really puts the engine to the test!
The contribution of the book, movie and this set to our hobby can’t be emphasized enough. How many others are still running their original traditional-sized Polar Express set from 20 years ago?
