Can anyone identify this locomotive?

It's a Tractive Power Corp. TP56 locomotive.

Thanks to all who replied.

They produced two switchers from the re-cycled trucks of a scrapped Canadian Pacific road unit.

They were built at the NS shop in Altoona. Sort of neat.

It's nice to see a 12" to the foot kit-bash. I have a similar switcher on my layout, made from a 6-wheel power truck from a Lionel Diesel inside of a 520 box-cab shell.

Looks like something that the "Real World" thought up before RMT did

It's too bad that RMT went out of business, I liked a lot of their products, but their prices climbed too HIGH, and too FAST. I just didn't feel that the value was there that used to be, and unfortunately, I was not surprised at their demise.

Thanks, but they are two rail and I am 3 rail. Still tempting, but not sure I have the know how to convert, not sure I would even know where to start. They do look really nice though and I am watching the auction. So far the price is quite good too.

I also agree with Challenger3980 about RMT. I wish I would have gotten a couple of their small engines when they were blowing them out a few years ago. I think I might even attempt adding ERR or PS2/3 to one of those, well maybe...
