Can I use a Cab-1 Legacy Base with a Cab-2 add on controller (993)?

No.  There is no data base in the Base1L for the Cab 2 to connect to.  A Cab 2 must be used with a full Legacy base.  The Cab1L though can communicate with the full Legacy base with the function limited to the Cab1L.

The CAB2 can ONLY be used with the full #990 Legacy command base.  The CAB1L (blue) can also communicate with the #990 Legacy base and provide a bit more limited functionality.
