I stumbled across the MTH "Big Mo" searchlight car, and found that there are a couple of other items in this roadname. This only thing I've been able to figure out is that there is/was a mobile layout called Big Mo, but it's not clear to me how that becomes a roadname. Is there something I'm missing?

It is not a roadname... Just to try to get more sales on something to match the big mo trailers...
OK, thanks. It's listed as a road name in their website, which is why I was confused:

It always sounds like a battleship, to me. Almost.
'Big Mo' was a neat traveling layout in a trailer. It made a regular stop in Western New York at Niagara Hobby around Halloween in the early to mid 90's. Initially, it was privately owned and operated, but somewhere along the way it was either purchased by, or at least sponsored by MTH. Niagara made it a big event with a large tent, discounted train sets and accessories, and free to all scout/youth groups. Others paid $1 to get in and all proceeds were donated to local charities!
And amazingly the Big Mo trailer was up for sale on this forum just a few months back!
