I switched to all Fastrack and a gentleman bought all my steel tube rail. I have a graduated trestle system I bought for the Fastrack but it no longer is part of my new layout. Will it work with the old type of track? Is there a way to adapt.
Most likely not in a simple enough way to be time worthy or easy to do. There is no off the shelf "adapter" available if that is what you are asking.
The FT Trestles grab the outside of the roadbed, if I'm not mistaken. That's significantly wider than the ties on tubular. You'd also probably have to take measures to make sure the FT trestle "bracket" would not hit the center rail, even if you could find a way to make it fit, since this piece is metal.
