Can't change engine name in DCS

I bought a used PS2 engine and it won't let me assign a name to the engine, keeps coming up "engine error" and clears the screen. Any help would be great. The engine works perfect and I even have it in a lash-up and responds great, just no name.

Drodder,

After you assigned the last engine in the remote your next step should have been to name the lash up. Once it's in the lash up name you can't rename a individual engine that I know of. Try renaming it before you put it in a lash up, I hope this helps you.
