Can the LCD to my DCS remote be replaced or . . .

At one time, MTH would replace them, but I've heard they are not longer available. Call MTH and ask.

It is not a part, so you need a remote damaged for other reasons, and the LCD can be removed and resoldered to the remote.  G

You need a very steady hand to do that job.

You may be better off to buy a MTH WiFi unit and replace that remote with your phone or tablet. 

Thanks for the feedback guys. Looks like a new remote is in order. I did look on line and found one used for about $100.

Are the remotes like the TIU and have different revs or are they all the same functionally?

Hi Scott - Have you called MTH Service at 410-381-2580 / Tuesday - Thursday Noon to 5PM EST.  Tell them what happen, if they can fix this issue they will give you a RA Number. Return Authorization. What version is your TIU?  and the new controller will have to be the same version or you will have to update to 5.0.

I have always used MTH service, and their price structure is from free to very reasonable and they stand behind their work.

All remotes are the same functionally, although there m ay have been changes in intern al components.  There are no versions.

MTH does not have replacement screens. You will have to find another remote. They are not bad to replace. 

I'll follow up with Gary's tip and call MTH just to see what they say and if there is a repair option. In the mean time I'll start looking for a replacement. Bummer. This was my backup remote after I cracked the thumb wheel on my primary. GGG has since repaired the primary so now I need to replace my backup.

I recently gave Dave a screen and he had great luck with the job.  You will not get that job done at MTH.

   If you can pick up the used one for $100.00, grab that one also!  Cheapest DCS HHRC I have ever seen for sale, went for $125.00!
