I'd like to know the location of this unique station. Photo was taken in 1984. Cars are lettered for the Erie Lackawanna.
Thanks.

I swear I have seen something very close. we have parlor car 3453, and I was looking for images of the car. The cars were retired in 1984. So these were probably being spotted at there new home. I forgot where we pulled it out of a HRHS group in NJ. Cant get the fact off the top of my head.
Don't recall seeing this station on NYS&W.
Ridgefield NJ area is where the photo is of our car at about the same time. There are lots of shots of the cars when they ran the final days on Septa.
Not sure if its the same station, but they look alike. This station is in Lee, Ma. Taken around 2005. It is now a very nice restaurant
Thank you very much for posting the station photo and location.
Sure looks like Lee, MA. The Berkshire Scenic Railway has some ex-Lackawanna coaches and used to run through Lee.
As stated above, the station is now a restaurant...Sullivan Station. Been there a few times and always had a good meal.
That Lee station is certainly unique enough, that you would not expect there to be a lot of them....and it is different from any I have seen. It would make a good model.
If you take a look at google maps view of Lee, MA it does have the restaurant as noted and there is a long building which looks to be in the same position as the cinderblock building in the original picture.
The only thing that doesn't look right is the height of the hills in the background of the two pictures in this thread. The hills in the background of the modern picture of the station look to be lower than the hills in the background of the1984 picture but that could just be a matter of photo perspective.
