Can you retrofit proto2 into a PCC with loco sound?

guys, I have an older PCC with Loco sounds and I wanted to know if there is a way to upgrade it to Proto 2? there are spots that have the ports for the proto 2 battery charger. I have a Proto 2 unit and I figured you could do it, but, has anybody actually done it?

Yes you can Its not easy or for the faint of heart though. Buy a PS2 diesel upgrade kit and then you can download the PS2 PCC sounds
