Can you shorten LED light boards? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

So I bought the light boards from GGD and am now realizing they are ever so slightly too long because of some plastic inserts inside my 18" p70 coach, is it plausible to shorten the board? I really don't know what the electronics look like in that little plastic board.

Perhaps some pictures? I don't have any of those to look at, so it's hard to say if they're easily shortened.

would also be nice to know what a "little" measures out too? I have a things that just needed a fast pass over a file and they fit fine so I agree some pics would help

I've been known to deal with "plastic inserts" rather harshly if they're in my way for lighting installations.

It doesn't look straight-forward to shorten them, but I think I'd have to see one in person to actually say for sure.
